What I meant was I haven’t slept in days because I can’t seem to focus on a single thread of thought, all falling apart from the unraveling you did of my favorite sweater, this relationship

When I said “Talk to you soon”

What I meant was the next hours or days or weeks will be excruciatingly slow, as i drag myself on all fours across a desert of broken glass and shattered promises, trying desperately to find an oasis of hope but my eyes can’t open

When I said “I’m glad you’re doing well”

What I mean is that I pay some doctor $200 a week to listen to me cry because for some reason or another I can’t seem to rationalize the fact that something that meant more to me than anything else is worthless through your currency exchange
