Drive Me Away

I blame the check engine light for our blind eyes.

The ones that are shining right in front of our faces

We’ve become so use to them being on,

Ignoring the warning signs, the aches and moans of our machines,

That we forget that something may actually be wrong on the inside.

You owe it to yourself to pull over and idle from time to time

Because even the mind needs maintenance
