Green Thumb
Would you rather forgive yourself for all that you have done,
Or for all the things you haven’t?
Are the questions and doubts that keep you up at night keeping you out during the day?
These intrusive thoughts plant the seeds in your mind, body, and soul
They are there. That can’t be changed.
You are to become a plantation of perception
A thickening of thinking
We don’t plant the seeds,
But we water them. Nurture them. Cross pollinate the contemplation.
The weeds stay whacked, the grubs stay gone
Fears can be motivators. Sorrow a seminar
Lethargy a lecture
Take note that what you are feeling is feeling
That proves you are alive.
Do not bottle these feelings and bury them away
They need the sunlight to grow themselves
You need them to grow yourself
Take pride in the plot and acknowledge the production is paramount
If you take care of the garden, you control the harvest
