Miners Bowery
And as the curtain closes on the day
With cinnamon gold sequined skies
Reflecting off the water,
Like a paparazzi sea,
While waves echo applause
Chanting cheers from an ocean’s ovations,
Tossing bouquets of sand and seaweed at my feet,
There is a moment before the house lights fade at dusk
When I take my final bow
Speechless
And pray for an encore tomorrow
