I Deserve to See the World.

I am done feeling sorry for myself.

I am done letting regret and shame dictate my life and my decisions.

I am worthy of more.

I am worthy of love.

I am worthy of happiness.

And I will pursue those until my dying breath.

The past is the past and the future is the future.

But right here, right now, I will act.

In spite of one and to impact the other.

Life isn’t about getting it perfect the first time around,

And you don’t lose for making mistakes.

So right here, right now, I pledge,

To start my life again.

No more fear. No more hiding.

I deserve to see the world.

And the world deserves to see me.
