Wishes crash down to Earth

Unheard and Unanswered

By God. By Gods

Whoever it was

Didn’t pick up

Choirs of deaf angels

Sing their praises of a

Job not well done

As the sky falls beneath

Their ghostly white wings

Tonight I welcome Loneliness

Inviting her inside,

As she offers a cold blizzard

As her pot luck contribution.

I only asked her to bring dip.

Icicles hang off my cheeks

Reflecting the Shooting Stars.

They trickle down to the ground.

Racing to hit rock bottom

Unbeknownst I already won

Make a wish, I whisper

To no one and everyone.

Please. Come True.

Bring back my warmth.

Let my tears flow again.
