Somniloquy

I heard you talking in your sleep,

My name slipping lazily from your lips.

And these murmurous incantations

Of dreaming desires

Assured me of your loved.

So I wonder if that’s why I grind my teeth.

To mince the words before they make it.

Grating gospel into dust

Before you get a chance to hear

How I really feel.
