The S in Woods is Silent

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

If I fall, and break underneath the weigh of expectation I put on myself, and no one is around anymore to hear it after I pushed everyone away who was only trying to get close and help, posting flyers in the woods that say I was safe and to call off the search, would I make a sound?

Would anyone come looking?
