The Trapeze Act Was Wonderful

I often wonder how many times I’m in the background

Of a random selfie

Taken to commemorate a vacation, a celebration, a first date

To retain the memory of a moment, to be cherished and immortalized in an album somewhere.

I wonder if I can collect my portion of those good memories and feelings.
