Where You Went

I hear the babbles of the brooks/ beckoning me home

To the woods where I first saw you/ bathing in the foam

From too much pollution/ with no where else to roam

And I wonder where you went.

Since then I’ve traveled/ across this broken nation

And I swear I saw you/ waiting at the station

But it was just a ghost/ a haunting sensation

And I wonder where you went.

At night I close my eyes/ I still see your face

Inching closer towards me/ for one last embrace

But I’m forced to wake/ and spare myself a disgrace

Yet still I wonder where you went
