You Are A Masterpiece

I’ve seen art in many forms.

And I’ve seen artists in many more.

I think being an artist is, in itself, an art

And we, as humans, are the work

Because we, as humans, need the work

Just like there are different kinds of poems

Just like there are different kinds of paintings

Just like there are different songs, different sculptures, different dances, different words

In order to create at all,

We need to first experience, and accept, all these types of art.

We need to first experience, and accept, all these types of artists.

We need to first experience, and accept, all these types of people.

Art is subjective. But the existence of art is not

People are subjective. But the existence of people, all people, is not.
