Common Sense and Common Courtesy are a Common Misconception

Unhinging it’s jaw

An anaconda can swallow whole deer and cattle.

Eating to survive, spending weeks to digest one meal.

But I am not a snake.

My mandibles remain merged.

So there is only so much of my own pride I can keep down

Before I choke on consciousness

And regurgitate regret.
