Iapetus’ Boy

You reminded me of Atlas

Carrying the world on your shoulders

Burdening yourself with everyone’s problems.

Mine included

I never wanted to be your whole world,

Just a part of it

I never wanted to be a Sun you revolved around

Just a Star to help guide you through the dark

I guess that’s the biggest difference

When Atlas grows tired and shrugs, the world quakes

But when you grew tired,

It was me who was left in ruin
