I’m More Grape than Wrath

Truth be told I do not know why I fell

For you when I told love to stay under

As if it never learned from former Hell

Why risk it all on another blunder

I have lost more people than I have gained

Not sure if that is a fault of my own

Each one leaving me a little more drained

Treating me like a simple stepping stone

But one can not stay hidden forever

We need to get back out into the world

The ghosts do not decide your endeavor 

To see the clouds your wings must be unfurled 

So take a risk on forgetting your past

The pain will fade but happiness will last
