Mantidae Was Further Split

I remember being told it was illegal to hurt a Praying Mantis.

Since they do so much for the local ecosystem, it would be a crime to kill them.

People saying they were sent by Angels to watch us and bring good luck.

So I wonder…

Is it because I don’t believe in a God to pray to that I don’t get the same treatment?

Is it because I don’t know where I belong or what my grand purpose is in an ecosystem?

Hell, I’ve already felt my head be torn off

And have been chewed out by those I thought I loved

And who I thought loved me.

What can I do to make people see my value and not want to hurt me?

What do I need to do to be a Praying Mantis?
