Cadavra
Don’t be afraid of skeletons
Everybody has them.
They’re just bones collected into the shape of a person, held together by ligaments and tissue
And they’re always just skin deep.
Especially the ones kept in the closet.
No matter how hard we try and hide them, they’re there.
Under flesh and muscle and fear and regret.
Our skeletons are simply parts of us that make up who we are
Giving our future structure. Giving our past form.
We should be comfortable in our own skin
Not afraid of our skeletons
Not afraid of our secrets
Not afraid of ourselves
