If they won’t give you the love you deserve, fine.

Give it to yourself.

Because there is nothing that they can say or do that you can’t say or do.

Their love is not absolute. Their love is not proof of being loved.

You’re the only one that can break your heart. And you’re the only one that can mend it.

So be kind to yourself. Trust yourself. And know that all the love you need is already with you.

Because even a starving mouse will eat its own tail before letting itself die.
